To report an error in content currently or imminently to appear on Main Page, use the appropriate section below. Reports should contain:
- Where is the error? An exact quotation using {{!xt}} of the text in question helps.
- Offer a correction if possible using {{xt}}.
- References are helpful, especially when reporting an obscure factual or grammatical error.
- Time zones. The Main Page runs on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, currently 13:07 on 5 August 2025) and is not adjusted to your local time zone.
- Can you resolve the problem yourself? If the error lies primarily in the content of an article linked from the Main Page, fix the problem there before reporting it here. Text on the Main Page generally defers to the articles with bolded links. Upcoming content on the Main Page is usually only protected from editing beginning 24 hours before its scheduled appearance. Before that period, you can be bold and fix any issues yourself.
- Do not use {{edit fully-protected}} on this page, which will not get a faster response. It is unnecessary, because this page is not protected, and causes display problems because this is not a talk page. (See the bottom of this revision for an example.)
- No chit-chat. Lengthy discussions should be moved to a suitable location elsewhere, such as the talk page of the relevant article or project.
- Actual errors only. Failures of subjective criteria such as interestingness are not errors.
- Respect other editors. Another user wrote the text you want changed, or reported an issue they see in something you wrote. Everyone's goal should be producing the best Main Page possible. The compressed time frame of the Main Page means sometimes action must be taken before there has been time for everyone to comment. Be civil to fellow users.
- Reports are removed when resolved. Once an error has been addressed or determined not to be an error, or the item has been rotated off the Main Page, the report will be removed from this page. Check the revision history for a record of any discussion or action taken; no archives are kept.
Errors in the summary of the featured article
editAs the author of the article and not the blurb, I want to bring up that the venue is called the Apollo Theatre, not the Belvidere Apollo Theatre - the name used in the title for disambiguation from the London Apollo Theatre which also collapsed. This applies to the link in the blurb and the photo. I don't know the character limit for TFA blurbs but replacing "the Belvidere Apollo Theatre" with "the Apollo Theatre in Belvidere" is my preferred solution (particularly for the image caption, which lacks the word "the" before the disambiguated name). Departure– (talk) 01:32, 5 August 2025 (UTC)
- Courtesy link: Apollo Theatre (Belvidere, Illinois) (I was going to link to their website but it's a redirect to The Forge Live, which I believe is either the owner or the primary promoter of the venue), Departure– (talk) 01:34, 5 August 2025 (UTC)
- I've removed "Belvidere" and put a pipe for the name of the theatre to "there". The first link in the blurb has to be to the article featured. Does it work now? I'm going offline imminently so if there's anything further, someone else will have to do it. Wehwalt (talk) 01:49, 5 August 2025 (UTC)
- I've also amended the caption to "The Apollo Theatre in 2012" -- I don't think we really need to disambiguate in this context, since it's right next to a blurb about the one in Belvidere. UndercoverClassicist T·C 09:53, 5 August 2025 (UTC)

We've got a run-on sentence in the blurb. Suggest adding a comma between "venue" and "burying". Toadspike [Talk] 11:11, 5 August 2025 (UTC)
- Done (and a semicolon stuck in to help further with that issue). UndercoverClassicist T·C 11:19, 5 August 2025 (UTC)
- Wow, thank you, that was fast! I forgot you're an admin now, but this is exactly what I voted for! Toadspike [Talk] 11:52, 5 August 2025 (UTC)
